She made one of the most talked-about Broadway debuts in seasons as the deliciously vain Princess Pamela in Head Over Heels. She confessed that it’s been 3 years since she last did a solo show. Tonight at Feinstein’s 54 Below, she made up for lost time, delivering a stellar, and surprisingly vulnerable self-titled show.

Well, Well…Hello, Lee Roy! The York Theatre Company will present Broadway’s Lee Roy Reams in his new solo show _Remembering Jerry Herman*, celebrating his collaboration with the late great musical theater legend. Audiences will hear glorious songs and outrageous stories from shows that include La Cage aux Folles, Hello, Dolly!, and more.

Hollywood Museum founder Donelle Dadigan headed a re-opening ceremony of her Hollywood Museum August 4, 2021; commemorating the donated additional props from Bill and Patrick Shea to the Back to the Future Part I, II, III exhibit. On behalf of the Museum and the Shea father and son, Donelle presented a $5,000 check to the Michael J. Fox Foundation, which Michael accepted via video.

Tony-award winner Beth Leavel (The Prom, The Drowsy Chaperone) has made a career out of going too far. Her comedic style is always to ride right up to the line and pause for just long enough to make you think “Oh no, she won’t go there. It would just be too outrageous.” And then of course she does the thing that no one else would do, leaving you howling with laughter. The old vaudevillians called it “chutzpah.” Lucille Ball had it. Penny Marshall had it. Bette Midler has it. And Beth Leavel has it in spades. Her courage to just keep moving the line is why we love her.

Little Theatre of Virginia Beach is back to 100% capacity on July 16 with the opening of the musical comedy, 'Nunsense' by Dan Goggin. The York Theatre Company has announced the continuation of its 50th Anniversary Season at its new temporary home at The Theatre at St. Jean’s. Following a devastating flood due to a water main break in January 2021 at its home at Saint Peter’s Church, the company will temporarily relocate to The Theatre at St. Jean’s.
