Producer Carmen Pavlovic (Global Creatures) has announced that Moulin Rouge! The Musical, based on the 2001 Twentieth Century Fox Motion Picture by Baz Luhrmann, will play a world pre-Broadway engagement at Boston's Emerson Colonial Theatre next Summer.

Kong is coming! Producers Global Creatures (CEO Carmen Pavlovic) and Roy Furman just announced that King Kong, will arrive on Broadway in the fall of 2018 at the Shubert Organization's Broadway Theatre.

A new casting notice from Actors Equity has revealed that a spring staged reading is of Baz Luhrmann's Moulin Rouge is currently in the works. 

The first UK staging of STRICTLY BALLROOM THE MUSICAL - based on the much loved film that inspired the world to dance - is to premiere at West Yorkshire Playhouse, Leeds, tonight 30 November 2016, playing a season through until Saturday 21 January 2017 (Press Night: Tuesday 6 December at 7.30pm).

KING KONG is one giant stomp closer to conquering New York City. BroadwayWorld is excited to report that an industry reading of the new musical took place today, February 19, at Baryshnikov Arts Center, starring Robert Creighton (Benny), Lora Lee Gayer (Ann Darrow), Marc Kudisch (Carl Denham) and Euan Morton (Jack Driscoll). And to add to the excitement, Tony nominee Joshua Bergasse has also joined the production as choreographer.

Shaeffer, this version features a book and lyrics by Tony and Pulitzer Prize-winner Marsha Norman and a score by Marius De Vries and Tony Award-winner Jason Robert Brown.  Produced by Carmen Pavlovic and Roy Furman, a production schedule for KING KONG will be announced at a later date.

Baz Luhrmann's Strictly Ballroom the Musical opened this weekend at her Majesty's Theatre in Melbourne, Australia. Following the acclaimed first night, three weeks of performances have been added to the engagement, which is now playing through May 3, 2015.

Dinosaurs once again roam the earth when the spectacular production, WALKING WITH DINOSAURS THE ARENA SPECTACULAR, based on the award-winning BBC Television Series, returns to North America. WALKING WITH DINOSAURS THE ARENA SPECTACULAR will be performed at Honda Center from a limited eight-performance engagement from Wednesday, September 3 to Sunday, September 7 and STAPLES Center for a limited eight-performance engagement from Thursday, September 11 to Sunday, September 15.
