Sundance Institute's FilmTwo Initiative: Fostering Sustainability, Creativity in Storytelling

The fourth annual FilmTwo Initiative launches today in LA to support the career sustainability of thirteen artists developing their second features. FilmTwo encompasses two days of focused programming, including a writing workshop (led by Joan Tewkesbury), industry mentoring sessions, and one-on-one story meetings, kicking off a year of tailored creative and tactical support as part of the Institute's continuum of support for artists at key inflection points in their careers. The FilmTwo Initiative is supported by Universal Filmed Entertainment Group.

Clara Mae Returns With New Single 'Lost'

Swedish singer-songwriter Clara Mae returns today with her new single “Lost,” available now alongside a Madeline Kate Kann-directed visual companion. The Anton Rundberg-produced track (Carly Rae Jepsen, Galantis) marks a triumphant return for the in-demand songstress, who is due to release her forthcoming sophomore EP later this year. This month will also see Clara hitting the road supporting singer-songwriter Ella Vos on her North American tour, kicking off March 21st in Seattle, WA and running through end April, before heading overseas to perform as special guest on singer-producer Alex Aiono's #Fun23 tour.

The National Basketball Association (NBA)announced today that 2019 GRAMMY®Award-nominated artist and North Carolina native J. Cole will take the court in his home state to headline the 2019 NBA All-Star Game halftime show on Sunday, Feb. 17 at Spectrum Center in Charlotte, N.C. Before the game, Meek Mill will take the stage for an exciting opening and entertaining introduction of the All-Star teams, followed by GRAMMY® Award winner and Charlotte-born Anthony Hamilton performing the U.S. national anthem.  Multi-platinum GRAMMY® Award-nominated singer/songwriter Carly Rae Jepsen will perform the Canadian national anthem. The 68th NBA All-Star Game begins at 8 p.m. ET on TNT and will be seen by fans in more than 200 countries and territories in more than 40 languages.

Starting January 9, 2019 Nguyen will begin hosting the podcast that remains one of the most popular podcasts in the world. Stepping down from his role as host, which he has held since the podcast debuted on January 1, 2014, Hirway will assume an Executive Producer role, with AssociateProducer Christian Koons moving into the Producer role.
