To mark 9/5 Day today (9-5-2019), a celebration of both the iconic Dolly Parton song and the musical, the producers of 9 TO 5 THE MUSICAL are delighted to announce 300,000 more tickets are now on sale for the London run of the musical as the show extends at the Savoy Theatre in to 2020.

Hartford Stage announced today the cast and creative team for the world premiere musical The Flamingo Kid, helmed by Artistic Director Darko Tresnjak. The musical, which closes the 2018-19 season, boasts an impressive cast of Broadway and regional theatre talent. Performances for The Flamingo Kid begin on Thursday, May 9, and run through Sunday, June 9.

Metallica And San Francisco Symphony Announced As Inaugural Event For Chase Center

The back-to-back NBA Champion Golden State Warriors and Chase Center, the Warriors new 18,064-seat privately financed sports and entertainment arena in San Francisco's Mission Bay neighborhood, today announced that Metallica and the San Francisco Symphony will re-unite and perform together with special appearance by SFS Musical Director, Michael Tilson Thomas, and conducted by Edwin Outwater as the inaugural event at Chase Center on Friday, September 6, celebrating the 20th anniversary of their Grammy Award-Winning "Symphony and Metallica" (S&M) album. The show will be produced by Live Nation Entertainment and Another Planet Entertainment. Today's announcement was the first during the organization's "Reveal Week" - a week of announcements showcasing the first group of top-tier shows to perform at Chase Center this Fall.

In celebration of the historic grand opening of the Chase Center—the new 18,064-seat arena in San Francisco's Mission Bay neighborhood—two preeminent musical forces of the Bay Area will join together for the first time in 20 years: On Friday, September 6, Metallica and the San Francisco Symphony will commemorate this most anticipated addition to San Francisco's cultural landscape by christening the new Chase Center stage with a one-night-only show. The S&M2 concert will also mark the 20th anniversary of Metallica and the SF Symphony's groundbreaking 1999  S&M (“Symphony & Metallica”) concerts—and its subsequent film and album releases.

9 TO 5 THE MUSICAL Will Launch Second Production in The UK And Ireland

Following the huge success of 9 TO 5 THE MUSICAL at the Savoy Theatre in London's West End, the producers of the show are delighted to announce that a second production of the hit musical will play 11 cities throughout the UK and Ireland, opening at the Alexandra Theatre Birmingham on 6 September 2019, before visiting Manchester, Milton Keynes, Liverpool, Glasgow, Woking, Aberdeen, Cardiff, Sunderland, Edinburgh and Dublin.
