Mitchell Jarvis & Katie Webber to Reprise Roles in ROCK OF AGES; Full Cast

The complete cast has just been announced for the 10th Anniversary Production of ROCK OF AGES, opening this summer at New World Stages (340 W 50th St). Nominated for five Tony Awards during its record-breaking Broadway run, this return engagement begins performances on Wednesday, June 19, 2019 for a 16-week limited run through Sunday, October 6, 2019.

Four Short Operas Based On The Stonewall Riots Come to Shubert Theatre at NYU

Four half-hour long mini-operas inspired by the 50th anniversary of the Stonewall Riots, a watershed moment in LGBTQ civil rights, will have their world premiere at NYU's Shubert Theatre on May 18, 2019 and within the modern-day Stonewall Inn itself on May 19 and 20. The mini-opera performances will conclude NYU's Stonewall at 50 Series, a collection of panels, performances, events, and discussions commemorating the riots and their legacy.

Regent's Park Open Air Theatre have today announced full casting for A Midsummer Night's Dream (28 June - 27 July). Directed by Dominic Hill, Artistic Director of Citizen's Theatre, Glasgow, the production features Amber James as Hippolyta/Titania, Kieran Hill (Theseus/Oberon), Susan Wokoma (Bottom) and Myra McFadyen (Puck).

Laura Bryna Set To Cohost The 2nd Annual SHF HONORS: A TRIBUTE TO VETERANS IN ENTERTAINMENT

The Nashville-based 501c3 nonprofit will hold its Tribute to Veterans in Entertainment event on May 14th at the Texas Troubadour Theatre. Hosted by recording artist, Laura Bryna and the Grand Ole Opry's, Juliette Vara, the event will feature star-studded recognition award recipients, celebrity guest presenters, and exclusive music performances. Kenny Leon's True Colors Theatre Company and Jujamcyn Theatres announce the winners for the 11th Annual August Wilson Monologue Competition National Finals, held on Monday, May 6th at the August Wilson Theatre in New York. The first-place winner was Trajan Clayton from Perry, GA; second-place, Katara Willis from Buffalo, NY; and third place, Abad Viquez from Chicago, IL.

Way Off Broadway Announces 2019/2020 Season

Following The Way Off Broadway Dinner Theatre's 25th Silver Anniversary during the 2018/2019 Season, producers have unveiled WOB's upcoming 2019/2020 line-up. Known for producing classic musicals, as well as regional and area premieres, Way Off Broadway normally produces five Broadway-style productions each year. With the celebration of the theatre's 25th Anniversary, the company's producers decided to "shake things up a bit" and include a sixth show for the 2019/2020 Season.

GSC Announces Regional Premiere Of Broadway's LIFESPAN OF A FACT

Gloucester Stage Artistic Director Robert Walsh and Interim Managing Director Chris Griffith recently announced that the non-profit theater's 40th anniversary season will include regional premiere of The Lifespan of a Fact from August 30 through September 22.  Gloucester Stage will be the first theater in the country to produce the critically-acclaimed The Lifespan of a Fact since the play's SRO smash hit world premiere Broadway run featuring Daniel Radcliffe, Cherry Jones, and Bobby Cannavale closed in January 2019.

OLD JEWS TELLING JOKES Brings Laughs to The Eisemann Center

Philip Roger Roy and Playhouse Productions, Inc. have announced a limited engagement of the off Broadway hit Old Jews Telling Jokes at the Charles W. Eisemann Center for Performing Arts and Corporate Presentations Bank of America Theatre. The visiting production is set to open on Thursday, July 11, at 2pm and the engagement will continue through Sunday, July 28.

Alan Parsons Live Project Comes To Worcester

Alan Parsons, singer, musician, record producer and recording engineer, brings the Alan Parsons Live Project to The Hanover Theatre and Conservatory for the Performing Arts on Wednesday, September 18 at 8pm. Tickets are on sale now to members and go on sale to the public on Tuesday, May 7 at 10 am.
