For the first two weeks of her return engagement, the multiplatinum-selling singer-songwriter and New York Times bestselling author will play the titular pie-maker opposite Jason Mraz as Dr. Pomatter.

Theatre production company Parity Productions has released its monthly list of Qualifying Productions for December their popular directory of New York City shows in which the individual creative teams include 50 percent women and transgender artists (directors, designers, and playwrights).

Tony and Grammy Award nominee Sara Bareilles, the composer and lyricist of the Broadway smash hit Waitress, will return to the Brooks Atkinson stage as Jenna Hunterson on January 16, 2018 for six weeks only, through February 25, 2018. Ms. Bareilles made her Broadway debut in the show earlier this year, breaking house records at the theatre.

As previously announced, Betsy Wolfe shared her Waitress departure plans, stepping down from the role of Jenna on January 9th. Meanwhile, her current co-star, pop star Jason Mraz is scheduled for a final bow on January 15th. On the THANKSGIVING DAY PARADE ON CBS, WAITRESS stars Betsy Wolfe and Jason Mraz performed 'It Only Takes a Taste', live from The Brooks Atkinson Theatre. Mraz, a two-time Grammy Award winner is making his Broadway debut in the show.

According to 3 News Now, Omaha Performing Arts revealed the two four-year-old girls who have been cast in the touring production of Waitress, Anina Frey and Vienna Maas.
