Lynne Meadow (Artistic Director) and Barry Grove (Executive Producer) have announced a post-performance Beyond the Stage talkback series for Manhattan Theatre Club's New York premiere of the American Repertory Theater production of In the Body of the World, written and performed by Tony Award winner Eve Ensler and directed by Tony Award winner Diane Paulus.

Atlantic Theater Company's Hangmen begins previews tonight, January 18th and will open Monday, February 5th for a limited engagement through Sunday, March 4th, 2018 Off-Broadway at Atlantic Theater Company's Linda Gross Theater (336 West 20th Street).

Producers of the Broadway hit Waitress have ushered in 2018 with the announcement today that tickets are now on sale through December 23, 2018.

Tony and Grammy Award nominee Sara Bareilles, the composer and lyricist of the Broadway smash hit Waitress, returned to the Brooks Atkinson stage as Jenna Hunterson yesterday, January 16, 2018. She will remain in the role for six weeks only. Sara made her Broadway debut in the show earlier this year, breaking house records at the theatre.

Tony and Grammy Award nominee Sara Bareilles, the composer and lyricist of the Broadway smash hit Waitress, returned to the Brooks Atkinson stage this evening. To celebrate Sara's big return to the diner, the production dropped a surprise stream of Sara's first curtain call back along with a fun duet with co-star Jason Mraz on excited fans everywhere. Tony and Grammy Award nominee Sara Bareilles, the composer and lyricist of the Broadway smash hit Waitress, will return to the Brooks Atkinson stage as Jenna Hunterson tomorrow, January 16, 2018, for six weeks only.

The producers of Broadway's smash Waitress announced today that Grammy Award winner Jason Mraz will extend his engagement as Dr. Pomatter in the show until February 11, sharing two more weeks with the show's Grammy and Tony Award nominated composer and lyricist Sara Bareilles, who returns to the show on January 16 as Jenna, the titular pie-maker. Ms. Bareilles will be in the show through February 25. She made her Broadway debut in the show last year, breaking house records at the theatre. Mr. Mraz had previously been scheduled to depart the show on January 28.

Boston Court Performing Arts Center presents a reimagined modern take of Tennessee Williams' A Streetcar Named Desire (February 15 - March 25, 2018; press opening,February 24). This radical re-envisioning of Streetcar will feature a multicultural cast and modern setting, pushing on the play's present-day relevance.

The box office of the Imperial Theatre (249 West 45th Street) opens today at 10 a.m. for Rodgers & Hammerstein's classic musical Carousel. Simultaneously, a cast of 39 assembles for the first day of rehearsal under the direction of three-time Tony Award winner Jack O'Brien and choreography by Justin Peck for this most deeply anticipated production of the new season which begins preview performances on Wednesday, February 28 and officially opens on Thursday, April 12.

Acclaimed recording artist, songwriter and Broadway star Sara Bareilles has been cast as Mary Magdalene opposite John Legend in NBC's special event JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR LIVE IN CONCERT, to be aired Easter Sunday, April 1.

Theatre production company Parity Productions has released its monthly list of Qualifying Productions for January their popular directory of New York City shows in which the individual creative teams include 50% women and transgender artists (directors, designers, and playwrights).

General ticket sales are underway for the Oregon Shakespeare Festival's (OSF) 83rd season, which begins with the first preview on Feb. 16 and continues through Oct. 28. The 2018 season features four plays by William Shakespeare, a re-imagined classic musical, two West Coast premieres, one U.S. premiere and two world premieres as well as a host of events and opportunities to further engage with the onstage works.
