Rover Dramawerks continues their 22nd Season with the comedy The Underpants by Steve Martin. Performances will be at the Cox Playhouse, 1517 H Avenue in Plano, running August 4-20 on Thursdays and Fridays at 8:00 p.m. and on Saturdays at 3:00 and 8:00 p.m.

The Children's Theatre of Cincinnati will take audiences "up, up and away" with a SUPER season opener when they present SUPERMAN October 6-15, 2018 at the Taft Theatre.

Black Flag Theatre Company begins their inaugural season with the steampunk dark fantasy Quills by Tony Award and Pulitzer Prize-winning author Doug Wright. Joel Frapart (UNT Theatre graduate) stars as Abb du Coulmier, a timid cleric who is ordered to silence the outrageously irreverent and prolific Marquis de Sade (Brian Hoffman). Directed by Hugh Lehman. The play runs February 9 March 3, 2018, in the Cox Playhouse in downtown Plano. Tickets are on sale now. Limited seating. Mature content. 18+ only.

Now combine that with the talent and resources of UCF and you get THE BARD TAKES BROADWAY. Rachel Crothers' 1937 play-famously adapted into a 1940 film starring Joan Crawford-will receive a new production at Theatre Three beginning in April. The play follows Susan, a young wealthy New York socialite who lives only for Susan. When she discovers a new religious cult, she dives head first into her latest fad. Eager to spread the word of her transformation, Susan goes straight to her closest friends, who are, as usual, less than enthusiastic about her newest pastime.

The Marriott Theatre kicks off its 2012 season with the seven-time Tony Award nominated musical LEGALLY BLONDE. Based on the novel by Amanda Brown and the hit 2001 MGM movie of the same name starring Reese Witherspoon, this award-winning Broadway sensation previews opened last night and runs through March 25 at The Marriott Theatre, 10 Marriott Drive, Lincolnshire, IL.
