Tony Award & Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Robert Schenkkan will return to Broadway with the second of his two exhilarating dramas celebrating Lyndon B. Johnson's legacy: THE GREAT SOCIETY. This new play is the companion piece to Schenkkan's Tony Award winning All The Way, depicting the tumultuous times that led to the conclusion of the Johnson presidency in 1968.
For the fifth consecutive year, Rover Dramawerks is pleased to present a festival of 10-minute comedies. Six-part series APOLLO'S MOON SHOT explores the Moon program through unique and rare access to Apollo artifacts from the Smithsonian's National Air and Space Museum, while a companion augmented reality app enables users to participate in the mission. One-hour documentary THE DAY WE WALKED ON THE MOON relives those iconic 24 hours through the surprising revelations of the men and women who were there and those impacted across the globe. Quentin Mare, a versatile and daring stage actor cast in such wide-ranging productions off and on Broadway as King Lear, Coram Boy, Tom Stoppard's Rock n Roll, Happy Now?, and most recently, Lost Lake, passed away early Sunday morning, April 21, of natural causes. Mare was 49 and lived in New York City.
