Producer Jordan Yale Levine Announced as New Mentor for the Spring 2019 ScreenCraft Film Fund in Partnership with BondIt Media Capital

ScreenCraft and BondIt Media Capital have announced that Jordan Yale Levine is joining the ScreenCraft Film Fund Spring 2019 application cycle as a mentor and advisor. Named as one of Variety's 10 Producers to Watch in 2016, a member of the Producers Guild of America, and the founder and partner of Yale Productions, Jordan Yale Levine brings a wealth of entertainment industry experience to this year's program. His credits as a producer and executive include such recent independent films as AFTER EVERYTHING starring Jeremy Allen White, Maika Monroe and Marisa Tomei, KING COBRA starring James Franco and Christian Slater, and upcoming releases including CRYPTO starring Kurt Russel, Luke Hemsworth and Alexis Bledel, and William Brent Bell's SEPARATION starring Rupert Friend, Madeline Brewer and Brian Cox.

UNKLE Announce New Album 'The Road: Part II / Lost Highway'

Palm Springs International Film Festival Announces Festival Line-Up

 The 30th annual Palm Springs International Film Festival (PSIFF) announced that the festival's opening night will be the screening of All is True directed by Kenneth Branagh on Friday, January 4.  The festival will close with Ladies in Black, directed by Bruce Beresford on Sunday, January 13. The Festival will screen 223 films from 78 countries, including 48 premieres (4 World, 13 North American and 31 U.S.) from January 3-14, 2019.  The line-up includes a focus on cinema from France, India and Mexico, Premieres, Talking Pictures, Book to Screen, Special Presentations, FLOS: Foreign Language Oscar Submissions, Gay!La, Local Spotlight, Modern Masters, True Stories, World Cinema Now, a 30-film retrospective of selections from past festivals (free screenings sponsored by Desert Care Network and National Endowment for the Arts), and more.

LAMDA Launches West Coast Patrons Program

On Wednesday October 10, LAMDA Alumnus John Lithgow and LAMDA Chair The Rt Hon Shaun Woodward launched the American Friends of LAMDA (AFLAMDA) West Coast Program at the drama school's annual US showcase in West Hollywood. LAMDA is committed to selecting the most talented students, regardless of background or financial circumstance. Patrons will join the program for $1500 or $2500 a year, with their support contributing to LAMDA's Scholarship Fund to assist American students.

 YouTube announced its first-ever Spanish language YouTube Original movie, MUSEO, inspired by the most infamous cultural artifact heist in Mexican history, when two two regular guys looted 140 priceless Mayan and Meso-American pieces from Mexico's National Anthropology Museum on Christmas Eve 1985.  MUSEO starring Golden Globe Award-winner, Gael Garcia Bernal, Leonardo Ortizgris and Alfredo Castro is a thrilling heist injected with humor and set against never-before filmed locations in Mexico.  Co-produced and co-financed by Panorama Global, Ring Cine, Detalle Films, Distant Horizon and Serendipity Point Films, the 128-minute YouTube Original movie will debut in theaters this fall and on YouTube Premium later this year.
