Tonight is the the 70th Emmy Awards! Hosted by Colin Jost and Michael Che, the telecast will air live from the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles at 8:00 PM ET on NBC. The USTA today announced that singer songwriter, Deborah Cox and Tony-nominated singer, Brandon Victor Dixon will perform "America the Beautiful" respectively prior to the women's and men's US Open Finals on Saturday, September 8th and Sunday, September 9th. In addition, Cox will perform "I'm Every Woman" and Dixon will be sing "We Are the Champions" as a celebration of the female and male champions of the past 50 years of the US Open in Flushing, NY.

OX is digging up tunes and mayhem in a fundraising event tonight at The Duplex for the NYC premiere of the dark musical comedy by award-winning composer/lyricist/playwright Kit Goldstein Grant. The evening is entitled OUT OF THE BOX, and begins at 7:00 PM.

Vineyard Theatre and Developing Artists will partner again to present Developing Artists' REBEL VERSES Youth Arts Festival, Thursday through Saturday August 9-18 at Vineyard Theatre (108 E. 15th St.). Since the festival's inception in 2001, REBEL VERSES has provided young artists, ages 13-19, with the opportunity to collaborate and network with their peers and prominent artists, and to showcase their original work. This two-week event, now in its second season Off-Broadway at the Vineyard Theatre, will feature over one hundred artists and performers from ten young-artist companies hailing from all five boroughs of New York City and beyond.

FX Picks Up New Limited Series DEVS

The Public Theater's production of Public Works' TWELFTH NIGHT, conceived by Kwame Kwei-Armah and Shaina Taub, music and lyrics by Shaina Taub, Choreography by Lorin Latarro, and directed by Oskar Eustis and Kwame Kwei-Armah, opened just last night, July 31, running through Sunday, August 19.

NBC's Live broadcast of the hit rock-musical HAIR, directed by Diane Paulus and Alex Rudzinski, is set to air May 19, 2019, TV Line has reported.
