Short film SPARKY & BUTCH will premiere in The Louisiana Prize Fest, a festival celebrating film, music, and food in Northern Louisiana.

After an extended run at the 2017 New York Theatre Festival's Summerfest, Great Frontier: A Poorly Researched Musical About Lewis And Clark is returning to the stage this October for 8 performances at The PIT Loft. The show was co-written by comedians, Kevin Froleiks and Patrick J. Reilly, and features 18 original songs with zero historical accuracy.

International song stylist Iris Williams returns to the New York cabaret scene in a solo performance in her debut at The Beach Cafe located on New York's Upper East Side. During Ms. Williams' set, themed "Let the music begin" she will interpret classic American standards and other favorites. September 8 at 8.15pm. Huntington Theatre Company will present the New England premiere of the hit musical comedy Spamilton: An American Parody at the Wimberly Theatre in the Calderwood Pavilion at the BCA in Boston's South End, from February 12 to March 10, 2019. Spamilton joins the 2018 - 2019 season as a special added event. Tickets are now on sale only to Huntington subscribers; any remaining tickets will be made available for sale to the public in December.

In The Mood, a 1940's musical revue featuring singers, dancers and a 13-piece orchestra, takes the stage at the Napa Valley Performing Arts Center at Lincoln Theater for two performances on Sunday, September 9, 2018, with a matinee at 2 pm and evening performance at 7 pm. As the Winter Gardens Blackpool today celebrates its 140th anniversary, plans have been unveiled revealing a partnership between global producers Selladoor Worldwide and operators Blackpool Entertainment Company to bring a fresh lease of creative life to the historic Pavilion Theatre, based within the grade 2* listed venue. During this joint venture, Selladoor Worldwide will lead on programing the space with both produced and received work, whilst Winter Gardens Blackpool will focus on the renovations to save and restore the theatre back to its full former glory for future generations to enjoy.

With the UK premiere of The Gronholm Method running at the Menier, Travesties running on Broadway and The Color Purple on tour in the US, the Menier Chocolate Factory today announces the cast for UK premiere of Gerard Alessandrini's Spamilton: An American Parody which opens at the theatre on 24 July, with previews from 12 July and runs until 8 September. Alessandrini directs Marc Akinfolarin, Jason Denton, Eddie Elliott, Liam Tamne and Julie Yammanee, with special guests Sophie-Louise Dann and Damian Humbley. The production renews Alessandrini's collaboration with the Menier following Forbidden Broadway which ran both at the theatre and in the West End.

On May 31st, Rich Little, arguably the most famous impressionist in the world, was honored by the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce during their Hollywood Hero ceremony with the Johnny Grant Award, along with Diahann Carroll (receiving the Mary Pickford Award).
