In the style of a live radio play, actors perform the story as a Christmas Eve broadcast with music and live sound effects. Join George Bailey as he learns what happens to his hometown when he makes a wish to an angel that he was never born. A story of redemption that resonates with all ages.

The two plays currently running in rep (pictured here) include Phillip Christian Smith's The Chechens and Blake Bishton's Buffalo Buffalo. The two plays run through August 12th. Wander with Frida Kahlo, Remedios Varo, and Leonora Carrington through the abandoned halls of a mansion on Governors Island. The show centers on, as the artists often queried in life, the duality of humanity, womanhood, and art. The captivating, sometimes terrifying, work of these three women intertwine, as each attempts to shape their own reality in the face of systematic oppression and entrenched social hierarchies.

Exquisite Corpse Company (ECC) rings in the new year with Corpse Revival Performance Series: Like Clockwork, featuring workshop performances of six new plays developed in their Summer 2016 Writer's Lab. Roots and Wings Theatrical Bring Six New Shows to NYC, 5/14-18

For the seventh installment of the Duct Tape and A Dream Festival, Roots and Wings Theatrical will showcase six dynamic projects divided between two programs running in repertory May 14-18, 2014. The festival consists of a "Duct Tape" Program and a "Dream" Program. Each program has something to offer for all audiences. The festival is truly eclectic with plays written by emerging artists exploring a variety of subjects such as linguistics, death in the family, things you may have learned in your 20s, and modern adaptations of classics (see: Crutchfield's Pe[t]er Gynt inspired by Ibsen's Peer Gynt). The programs will play in rotation at Theatre 54 at 244 West 54th Street, 12th Floor, New York, New York 10019 for five days with 42 artists sharing the stage.
