WE, an organization that makes doing good doable, invites young people and their families to tune in to the fifth annual “WE Day” Special on Aug. 9 at 8 p.m. ET/7 p.m. CT on ABC. The “WE Day” Special is the celebration of actions taken and positive impacts made by youth, families and educators across the country who, together, are an unstoppable force for good. The “WE Day” Special is sponsored by title partner The Allstate Foundation and by presenting partners Walgreens and Microsoft.

The York Theatre Company (James Morgan, Producing Artistic Director; Evans Haile, Executive Director), dedicated to the development of new musicals and rediscovery of musical gems from the past, in association with Riki Kane Larimer and Keylight Productions, presents the return engagement of the hit Off-Broadway musical Enter Laughing: The Musical with book by Joseph Stein and music and lyrics by Stan Daniels, based on the play Enter Laughing by Joseph Stein from the novel by Carl Reiner. Enter Laughing: The Musical, with direction and musical staging by York Theatre favorite Stuart Ross (York's Forever Plaid, Enter Laughing), music direction by Phil Reno (Something Rotten), and choreography by Jennifer Paulson-Lee (Enter Laughing), returns to kick off The York's year-long 50th Anniversary Celebration.

Victory Gardens Theater presents Town Hall: Black Girls, Sexual Violence and the #MuteRKelly Campaign an event where Chicago community members can join conversations about women of color, sexual violence, community-based prevention, and systemic structures that contribute to this pervasive problem. The Town Hall will be held at Victory Gardens Theater, 2433 N. Lincoln Avenue on Thursday, May 16 at 6pm. This event is FREE and open to the public.

Rap artist, writer, and theater performer Baba Brinkman has been wowing audiences for ten years with his imaginative and award-winning Rap Guide to... series, in which he takes ideas from science and philosophy and presents them in an unforgettable platform: Hip-Hop. The critically-acclaimed series is now running?through?April 9th.

Celebrity rap battle series Drop the Mic and classic game show reboot Snoop Dogg Presents The Joker's Wild will return to television on Wednesday, January 23rd at 10:00 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. (ET/PT) respectively, on TNT. Both shows will encore the following night each week on TBS.

Former US Vice President Al Gore will host a one-hour special broadcast of The Climate Reality Project's 24 Hours of Reality: Protect Our Planet, Protect Ourselves, which will explore how the climate crisis threatens human health worldwide. The special will premiere on Nat Geo WILD on Thursday, December 20, 2018, at 7 PM ET.

On December 27th, rap artist, writer, and theater performer Baba Brinkman will return to the SoHo Playhouse to reprise three of his best-loved shows, Rap Guide to Evolution, Rap Guide to Climate Chaos, and Rap Guide to Consciousness. Brinkman, who has been nominated for two Drama Desk awards and whose work has been described as 'astonishing and brilliant" by The New York Times, is excited to bring these productions back to the stage.  

 On December 3-4, former US Vice President Al Gore will host The Climate Reality Project's eighth-annual 24 Hours of Reality broadcast - 24 Hours of Reality: Protect Our Planet, Protect Ourselves - a 24-hour live event exploring how the climate crisis is threatening human health worldwide. This year's program will be carried by broadcast partners globally and streamed live online at 24HoursofReality.org.

For almost five decades, SESAME STREET has been helping kids grow smarter, stronger and kinder. This November, the groundbreaking show kicks off its 49th season with a special evening presentation of WHEN YOU WISH UPON A PICKLE: A SESAME STREET SPECIAL, debuting SATURDAY, NOV. 10 (7:00-7:45 p.m. ET/PT), followed by new weekly episodes starting SATURDAY, NOV. 17 (9:00-9:30 a.m.). This season, the iconic children's show will explore a “Learning Through Play” curriculum that models how kids can build school readiness skills as they try out different roles during play.

MTV Studios, a unit of Viacom's (VIAB, VIA) MTV, announced today a partnership with Facebook Watch to reimagine the groundbreaking series MTV's The Real World for three all new seasons debuting Spring 2019. Drawing on Facebook's global platform, the new seasons will be native productions in Mexico, Thailand and the United States, respectively, to explore friendship, and the cultural and social environment in each. Available exclusively on Facebook Watch, the new seasons will introduce interactive social and community features that empower fans to shape the action and connect across mobile, desktop and Facebook's TV app.

The Broadcast Film Critics Association (BFCA) and the Broadcast Television Journalists Association (BTJA) have announced the nominees for the third annual Critics' Choice Documentary Awards. The winners will be presented their awards at a gala event, hosted by science educator and television personality Bill Nye, on Saturday, November 10 at BRIC in Brooklyn, New York.

Season 2 of National Geographic's acclaimed series MARS - dubbed impressive, inspiring and scientifically honest by critics - returns Monday, November 12, at 9/8c, with a six-episode arc continuing with last season's unique hybrid format: alternating scripted and documentary sequences to predict what life will be like on the Red Planet forecasted by what's happening today on Earth.
