His performance at the Edison Theatre this past Saturday (January 29, 2011), as part of their Ovations for Young People Series, was a complete delight, enthralling the youngsters in the crowd with his demonstrations, while keeping the adults amused with his hilarious running commentary.

TVGuide.com has reported that Tony Award nominee David Alan Grier is slated to guest star in an upcoming episode of Bones, the FOX crime drama series. Grier is to play Professor Bunsen Jude the 'Science Dude,' in a role based off of the popular children's TV show host Bill Nye the Science Guy.

Seattle Theatre Group (STG) announces the following concerts going on sale this week.

The 5th Avenue presents the classic American Musical Hello Dolly!, with music and lyrics by Jerry Herman and book by Michael Stewart, from the play The Matchmaker by Thornton Wilder. Set in New York in the 1890s, the show tells the story of the irrepressible Dolly Levi, matchmaker and social phenomenon, who is employed by grumpy small-town merchant Horace Vandergelder to find him a wife. But instead of helping Horace, the formidable widow assists his two hapless clerks Barnaby and Cornelius to find love and adventure in New York, while setting her sights on Vandergelder herself! Brimming with exuberant songs like ?Put On Your Sunday Clothes,? ?Before the Parade Passes By,? ?It Only Takes a Moment,? and of course the title song, Hello Dolly! celebrates the exuberant philosophies of seizing the moment and spreading one?s wealth around.

This morning the Daytime Emmy Nomination List was released.The 35th Annual 2008 Daytimes Emmy Awards will be held on Friday June 20th, 2008 at the Kodak Theatre in Los Angeles. ABC will be broadcasting the ceremony.
