Producers and Presidents of the Prom Committee Dori Berinstein, Bill Damaschke, Jack Lane and Timothy Laczynski announced today that the hilarious new Broadway musical comedy THE PROM will begin performances on Sunday, October 21, 2018 and officially open on Thursday, November 15, 2018 at the Cort Theatre (138 West 48th Street).

The musical A LETTER TO Harvey Milk debuts Off-Broadway at Theatre Row's Acorn Theatre (410 W 42 Street), running through May 13, 2018. A LETTER TO Harvey Milk stars Adam Heller (Broadway: It Shoulda Been You, Elf, Caroline or Change), Julia Knitel (Broadway and National Tour: Carole King in Beautiful, Bye Bye Birdie), Cheryl Stern (Broadway: La Cage Aux Folles, The Women), along with Michael Bartoli (National Tour: Joseph/Dreamcoat), Jeremy Greenbaum(Broadway:Newsies),Aury Krebs (Regional: Rent, Hairspray), and CJ Pawlikowski(National Tour: Book of Mormon, Memphis)

The Muny announced today that season tickets for The Muny's 2018 centennial summer season are now available. Tickets can be purchased online at www.muny.org, by phone (314) 361-1900, or in person at The Muny Box Office, open 9am - 5pm, Monday through Friday. The Muny proudly celebrates its 100th season in Forest Park this summer.

On March 21 and 22, Muny Magic at The Sheldon will star one of The Muny's most popular and acclaimed performers in recent years, the Olivier Award-winning Broadway star, Laura Michelle Kelly. Kelly starred in The Muny's productions of The King and I (2012) and South Pacific (2013) before spending several years developing and starring in the Broadway production of Finding Neverland (2015). In November of last year, Kelly starred in the highly-acclaimed Lincoln Center national tour of The King and I at The Fabulous Fox Theatre.

It was announced today that the hilarious new Broadway musical comedy THE PROM will star Tony Award Nominee Brooks Ashmanskas (Something Rotten!), Tony Award Winner Beth Leavel (The Drowsy Chaperone), two-time Tony Award Nominee Christopher Sieber (Shrek the Musical), Caitlin Kinnunen (Bridges of Madison County), Isabelle McCalla (Aladdin), Michael Potts (Jitney), Angie Schworer (The Producers), Courtenay Collins (Broadway Debut) and Josh Lamon (Groundhog Day) and will officially open on Broadway on Thursday, November 15, 2018 at a Shubert theater to be announced.

The National Alliance for Musical Theatre (NAMT) will present The Drowsy Chaperone in Concert at 54 Below on Monday, January 8th, 2018. Winner of five Tony Awards, including Best Book and Best Original Score, The Drowsy Chaperone is a loving send-up of the Jazz Age musical, featuring one show-stopping song after another. Hailed by New York Magazine as The Perfect Broadway Musical, The Drowsy Chaperone has music and lyrics by Lisa Lambert and Greg Morrison with book by Bob Martin and Don McKellar.

Christopher Rice (Broadway's The Book of Mormon) continues his viral #Tappy video series online with the 2017 Tappy Christmas Special. This production, inspired by the televised holiday specials of the 1960s, features Broadway stars Kyle Dean Massey (TV's 'Nashville', Pippin, Next to Normal, Wicked), Bryonha Marie Parham (Prince of Broadway, Porgy and Bess, After Midnight), Dorcas Leung (current Gigi in Miss Saigon), and dancers from many other Broadway shows.
