Theatre West will present its second annual celebration of Pride Month, Proud Out Loud, on Friday, June 23 and Saturday, June 24, 2023 at 8:00 p.m. Admission is FREE, but donations will be gratefully accepted. Reservations are not necessary.

Featuring original music by Donnie Emerson, the film stars Academy Award® Winner Casey Affleck (Manchester by the Sea, Gone Baby Gone) Noah Jupe (A Quiet Place II, Honey Boy), Emmy®-nominated Zooey Deschanel (New Girl, 500 Days of Summer), Emmy®-nominated Walton Goggins (Justified, The Hateful Eight), and more.

Theatre Aspen is now accepting submissions through Friday, April 7 for the organization’s fourth annual one-person show festival, Solo Flights, to be held from September 7-14 at Theatre Aspen’s Hurst Theatre.

Hansel and Gretel is Storybook Theatre's award-winning musical retelling of the famous fairy tale. The popular musical about the brother and sister who leave home and follow bread crumbs through the theatre, meet a funny witch, a wacky bird, have all kinds of adventures and along the way learn that no matter what trouble you are in, it's never a good idea to run away. It's a happy, fun show, inspired by the beloved story from the Brothers Grimm.

Moose on the Loose, a comedy about an Italian family and a Canadian moose, written by Dina Morrone, directed by Peter Flood and produced by Dina Morrone and Benjamin Scuglia tp play at Theatre West.

On select Tuesday evenings at 7:30 p.m., Theatre West will present readings of new full-length plays developed in its Writers Workshop.

LITTLE RED RIDING HOOD (Catercita Roja) is Storybook Theatre's award-winning musical retelling of the famous fairy tale. There is a Granny at the Pianny, a funny wolf, and an adorable Little Riding Hood. There are opportunities for audience participation as Little Red Riding Hood goes through the woods to Granny's house. Fun for the whole family.

Theatre West will present 18 Minutes of Fame: A Musical Journey with Barbara Minkus, a show business memoir with songs, written by Susan Morgenstern and Barbara Minkus. The production, starring Barbara Minkus, is directed by Susan Morgenstern and produced by Matt Aaron Krinsky and Diane Baroni.

Theatre West will present Winter Wishes: A Holiday Cabaret Theatre December 2- December 11, 2022, Friday and Saturday at 8:00, and Sunday at 2:00pm. The performances will be held at Theatre West. Tickets are $35 in advance, and $40 at the door.

Theatre Aspen (Jed Bernstein, Producing Director) announced that Avaaz by Michael Shayan and Sally: A Solo Play by Sandra Seaton have received grants from the Solo Flights Project Advancement Fund. Each playwright, whose work was just presented at the 2022 Solo Flights Festival, will receive a $10,000 grant to support their piece's further development.

Solo Flights is Theatre Aspen’s developmental one-person show festival, running September 10-15, 2022, at the Hurst Theatre in Aspen, Colorado.

In this high-octane action thriller, a cross-country road trip becomes a highway to hell for Brenda (Queen Latifah), her two kids and her brother Reggie (Chris  Bridges).
