Moulin Rouge! The Musical will commence performances at Sydney's Capitol Theatre on 28 May 2022. This week, the cast officially met the press!

Ariana DeBose, Amber Riley, Kevin Bacon, Charli D'Amelio, Jenna Dewan, Baz Luhrmann, Rob Marshall, Kenny Ortega, and more will honor iconic films such as “Singin’ in the Rain,” “Moulin Rouge!,” “Beauty and the Beast,” “Chicago,” “Dirty Dancing,” “Saturday Night Fever” and “La La Land” in the new special.

 Las Vegas’ Heart of the Arts, The Smith Center for the Performing Arts will present a robust lineup of Broadway’s most dazzling productions for its 2022-2023 season of its highly popular Broadway Las Vegas Series.

Tony®, Grammy®, Drama Desk and Lucille Lortel Award winner Renée Elise Goldsberry will make her Wharton Center debut in a special one-night performance on Saturday, March 26, at 8PM to perform Broadway hits and classic standards.

Tony Award nominee Robyn Hurder will play her final performance as Nini in the Tony Award-winning Best Musical Moulin Rouge! The Musical on Sunday, February 20, 2022, at the Al Hirschfeld Theatre. Jessica Lee Goldyn begins performances in the role starting Tuesday, February 22, 2022.

Moulin Rouge! officially opened in London on 20 January at the Piccadilly Theatre. The cast of Moulin Rouge! is led by Liisi LaFontaine and Jamie Bogyo in the roles of Satine and Christian.

After winning 10 Tony awards on Broadway, the long-awaited adaptation of Baz Luhrmann’s extravagant 2001 film is now officially open at a red velvet-swathed Piccadilly Theatre in a blaze of sparkle and light.

Aaron Tveit took the stage at Moulin Rouge to give a speech honoring the cast members who were leaving the show, including Travis Ward-Osborne, Sam J. Cahn, Reed Luplau, and of course, Danny Burstein.

We chat to the show’s creatives, Alex Timbers, Sonya Tayeh and Justin Levine, about the ten-year journey to the stage, and what makes the show so spectacular.
