Bay Street Theater is pleased to announce the World Premiere of SAFE SPACE had the official opening night on June 29. The show runs through July 21. This new play by Alan Fox is directed by three-time Tony Award winner Jack O'Brien (All My Sons, Henry IV, Hairspray, The Coast of Utopia). The play stars Mercedes Ruehl (Torch Song, upcoming film Hustlers, Bay Street's Viva la Vida!), Sasha Diamond (Blindspot, The Romanoffs, Murphy Brown) and Rodney Richardson (The Day Shall Come, CBS's FBI, Somebody's Daughter).

Bay Street Theater presents THE PROMPTER, the first production of the 2019 Mainstage Season, are now in rehearsal in New York City. The World Premiere will be May 28- June 16. Tovah Feldshuh (Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, The Walking Dead, Golda's Balcony) and Wade Dooley (Jersey Boys) star in the show. Bay Street Theater and Sag Harbor Center for the Arts is pleased to announce a successful opening night for FROST/NIXON, a play by Peter Morgan, directed by Sarna Lapine. The evening will include special performances as well as a silent auction, cocktail party, live 'Fantasy Auction,' dinner and dancing.

The play is by two-time Pulitzer Prize winner and Tony nominee Lynn Nottage and directed by Bay Street Theater Artistic Director Scott Schwartz. Kelly McCreary, currently one of the stars of Grey's Anatomy on ABC, stars as Esther Mills.

The evening included a special performance of scenes from productions from the past 25 years directed by Will Pomerantz, as well as a silent auction, cocktail party, Live 'Fantasy Auction,' dinner and dancing. Artistic Director, Scott Schwartz also announced a new partnership with Jeffrey Seller, producer of Hamilton. Bay Street Theater will produce the new musical, The Man in the Ceiling by Jules Feiffer and Andrew Lippa, directed by Jeffrey Seller as part of the 2017 Mainstage Season.

Bay Street Theater has announced MY FAIR LADY, Book and Lyrics by Alan Jay Lerner, Music by Frederick Loewe, Based on Pygmalion by George Bernard Shaw & Gabriel Pascal's motion picture, and Directed by Michael Arden, Tony Award nominee and Outer Critics Circle Award-winner for Best Director of a Musical for the Broadway revival of Spring Awakening is now in rehearsals in NYC. MY FAIR LADY will run August 2 - 28.
