Complete Cast Announced For Sonali Bhattacharyya's CHASING HARES at The Young Vic

The Young Vic today announces the complete cast and creative team for the world premiere of Chasing Hares, a new play by award-winning playwright Sonali Bhattacharyya (Two Billion Beats) and directed by Milli Bhatia (seven methods of killing kylie jenner). The play, set between the UK and West Bengal, considers the power of storytelling in the struggle for a fairer world.

Full Cast Announced For The World Premiere Of WHEN THE CROWS VISIT At The Kiln Theatre

With Blues in the Night about to open at the theatre, and The Son soon to transfer to the West End, Artistic Director of Kiln Theatre, Indhu Rubasingham, today announces the full cast for her production of the world premiere of Anupama Chandrasekhar's When the Crows Visit - Ayesha Dharker (Hema), Bally Gill (Akshay), Mariam Haque (Uma / Kavita), Asif Khan (Gopi / Inspector), Aryana Ramkhalawon (Ragini), Paul G Raymond (David) and Soni Razdan (Jaya). The production opens on 29 October, with previews from 23 October, and runs until 30 November.

Shakespeare's Globe Announces Full Casting For RICHARD II

Shakespeare's Globe has announced the full ensemble for Richard II, opening 22 February 2019. Who are we as a nation post-Empire and pre-Brexit, and how do we speak truth to power? Who made this country and how do we move forward together? As we wrestle with questions of identity and ownership, we turn to our greatest playwright to reflect on 'This blessed plot, this earth, this realm, this England' as staged by the first-ever company of women of colour in a Shakespeare play on a major UK stage. The production opens on 5 November, with previews from 26 October, and runs until 22 December.

Ice and Fire Announces Full Cast for World Premiere of THE ISLAND NATION at the Arcola

ice&fire today announces the full company for the world premiere of The Island Nation, written by its Artistic Director Christine Bacon.  Ria Parry directs Claire Dargo, Ayesha Dharker, Bally Gill, Clive Hayward, Nikki Patel and Neran Persaud in the production which opens at the Arcola Theatre on 28 October, with previews from the 26 October, and runs until 19 November 2016.
