Piser, who has been part of the Dear Evan Hansen family since March 2019 and was most recently the ‘Evan’ alternate on Broadway, becomes the first Asian American actor to play the role full-time.

Ben Levi Ross was welcomed back to the Music Box Theatre (239 West 45th Street) on March 22, where he re-joined the Broadway company of Dear Evan Hansen as 'Evan Hansen.' Ross made his Broadway debut as a cover in Dear Evan Hansen in 2017, and went on to star as the original Evan in the first North American Tour.

New York Theatre Barn will present a reading of Everyone Comes to Elaine’s, a new musical about iconic restaurateur Elaine Kaufman with Tony Award® nominee Mary Testa (Oklahoma, The Gardens of Anuncia) in the title role. Dear Evan Hansen returns to Broadway tomorrow, Saturday, December 11, 2021 at 7:30 pm at the Music Box Theatre (239 W 45th Street). The production will be the final Broadway show to make its return this year.
