Opera Laguna will present a one-night-only semi-staged concert of The Student Prince on July 3 at the Laguna Playhouse. The production stars Arnold Livingston Geis and is directed by Josh Shaw.

The Opera Buffs will present nine rising opera singers in a program of contemporary mini-operas at Sierra Madre Playhouse. The performances feature short works by multiple composers and librettists, staged in an intimate setting.

Lincoln Center Theater’s INTIMATE APPAREL, a new opera with music by Ricky Ian Gordon, libretto by Lynn Nottage, based on her acclaimed play, and directed by Bartlett Sher, officially opened on Monday, January 31 at the Mitzi E. Newhouse Theater after it shuddered during previews when the theaters shutdown in 2020.
