The Academy of St Martin in the Fields has joined Sky to celebrate the launch of the new Sky Original series Amadeus, premiering in December 2025. The partnership includes a November 28 event at St Martin-in-the-Fields.

Steppenwolf Theatre Company, the nation’s premier ensemble theater company, is pleased to continue its 50th Anniversary Season with Peter Shaffer’s Oscar and Tony Award-winning masterpiece Amadeus, directed by Tony Award winner Robert Falls in his Steppenwolf debut. 

The Shaw Festival has released casting and creative teams for its 2026 season, which runs April 2 through December 23 in Niagara-on-the-Lake. Productions include new stagings of Amadeus, Jeeves & Wooster in Perfect Nonsense, and additional works across three venues.

Chicago Opera Theater will present the Chicago premiere of Antonio Salieri’s Falstaff, ossia Le tre burle December 3–7, 2025, at the Studebaker Theater. Directed by Robin Guarino and conducted by Christine Brandes.

Chicago Opera Theater (COT) will illuminate Shakespeare and Antonio Salieri this fall with a trilogy of performances and events, culminating in the Chicago premiere of Salieri’s Falstaff, ossia Le tre burle (Falstaff, or The Three Tricks) December 3–7, 2025 at the Studebaker Theater.

ICTRep (Wichita Repertory Theater) continues its 2025-26 season with AMADEUS, opening Friday, October 10 at 7:30 p.m. in Oliver Place at 2512 N. Oliver. Peter Shaffer’s 1979 masterpiece is a fictionalized story of the boy-genius Mozart and his musical contemporary, the Court Composer Antonio Salieri. Narrated by Salieri (the self-confessed Patron Saint of Mediocrities) whose life’s work is threatened by his jealousy of Mozart’s brilliance, this drama examines Salieri’s tortured, obsessive battle with the Creator, as the older composer rages against a God who has bestowed the greatest gifts to someone else.
