BROADWAY SESSIONS is described as an evening of musical performances, games and open mic featuring a new Broadway guest each week. The show is created and hosted by Ben Cameron (Bway Wicked, Aida and Footloose) and features musical director Joshua Stephen Kartes on piano. This Thursday, January 28, Broadway Sessions welcomes performers from the roster of talent management house, Whole Artist Management, run by Rich Martino and Cori Gardner.

Bryan Campione (Broadway Buzz, LLC) and Jacob Langfelder present; "KIMBERLY MARABLE: Soul & Substance". Making her solo debut at 42West, the evening will feature a funked up and jazzed down concert of music and storytelling with special guests from the worlds of stage and screen including Anne Fraser Thomas (Broadway Inspirational Voices), Phyre Hawkins (The Book of Mormon), Melvin Abston (Sister Act) and more. Amas Musical Theatre and The Amas Musical Theatre Lab will begin the New Year with staged readings for the New York premiere of A Taste of Chocolate, a new musical with book, music and lyrics by Timothy Ware, with additional lyrics and arrangements by Alvin Hough. Fundamental Theater Project will present the upcoming staged reading of Supersoldier, a new rock musical with book, music and lyrics by Hair co-creator, Jim Rado. The reading is presented in collaboration with New York Theatre Barn, and will be directed by NYTB Artistic Director, Joe Barros. Ted Rado also serves as Co-Book Writer on the piece, and Steve Margoshes and Marteen Andruet join as Musical Directors.

On Saturday, May 19, 2012 Broadway Sings for Pride (www.BwayPride.org) in conjunction with the TADA! Youth Theater joined over twenty-five Broadway, Off Broadway, and National Tour performers to remind everyone 'it gets better.' The song, which included TADA!'s Resident Youth Ensemble, was done to promote equality and stop bullying. 'It Gets Better' was written in 2010 by composers, Jay Kuo & Blair Shepard after a string of LGBT suicides across the country. This song will be featured in Broadway Sings for Pride's Second Annual Gay Pride Concert on Monday, June 25, 2012 in Manhattan. For tickets and information, click here.
