FEINSTEIN'S/54 Below, Broadway's Supper Club, presented "THE WHOLE MEGILLAH" last night and BroadwayWorld was there. From Adam Spiegel and Dan Wolpow, the writers of Cloned! (NYMF 2014 Best of Fest Audience Prize and New York Times Critic's Pick), The Whole Megillah! is a raucous, raunchy and ribald take on the Book of Esther, which tells the ridiculous story of the Jewish holiday of Purim.
THE WHOLE MEGILLAH stars Tony Vincent (American Idiot, We Will Rock You, Rent, The Voice), Tibor Feldman ("The Devil Wears Prada," "Enchanted"), Haley Swindal (Jekyll & Hyde), Julie Benko (Fiddler on the Roof, Les Miserables), Richard E. Waits (The First Wives Club) and Anne FraserThomas ( How the Grinch Stole Christmas - The Old Globe ). Rounding out the cast are Carly Frankel (Seussical at The Gallery Players), Nicholas Park (Merrily We Roll Along at the Astoria Performing Arts Center), Ryan Speakman(Pinkalicious: The Musical), and Zachary Spiegel (The Golden Bride). Jamibeth Margolis (The Caine Mutiny Court Martial) directs. Heather Shields (CitySalt Theatricals) serves as General Manager.
