Chris Rock, currently appearing on Broadway in THE MOTHERF**KER WITH THE HAT, will have little downtime after the production closes: the comedian and actor has signed onto the new Lionsgate film 'What to Expect When You're Expecting,' reports Deadline.

Who said you can't have 'train chases, plane crashes, shadowy murders, beautiful spies, trilbied heavies, dastardly villains with little fingers missing, not to mention some of the most iconic moments in the history of cinema' - as the Broadway description depicts - certainly not playwright Patrick Barlow.
The Theatre World Awards presentation were held at Jujamcyn's August Wilson Theatre, 245 West 52nd Street (home of Jersey Boys), in an invitation-only ceremony yesterday, June 7, 2011 from 2:00 to 3:45 p.m. Peter Filichia hosted, Barry Keating directed, Mary K. Botosan and Erin Oestreich were the event's producers. There was also a tribute to John Willis, founder of the Theatre World Awards, who died last summer. THE MOTHERF**KER WITH THE HAT may be extending its Broadway run for a second time. Although there's no official word just yet, Telecharge has released a new block of tickets for the Tony nominated play, which was set to close on July 17th following a first extension earlier this month; tickets are now being sold through September 10th.
Due to an extension, The Motherf**k**er With The Hat will now play through Sunday, July 17th at Broadway's Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre (236 West 45th Street). Directed by Anna D. Shapiro, the play opened to critical acclaim on Monday, April 11, 2011. Bobby Cannavale recently stopped by 'Morning Joe' where he went on the record about the injury he sustained during a perrformance last week. Click below to check it out!
