Theatre at Lime Kiln today announced two changes to the summer schedule. On Thursday, July 29th the Traveling Players Ensemble will perform Shakespeare's MacBeth in the Bowl, starting at 7:30pm. On Friday, August 21st, Eddie from Ohio returns after a five year gap to perform in the Bowl.

The Emelin Theatre has added two November concerts to its season with Simone-the accomplished jazz singer and daughter of Nina Simone- on November 7, and legendary girl group vocalist and Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Ronnie Spector on November 15. In addition to the line-up of concerts this fall, including country music chart-topper Bryan White (October 24) and Tony Award-winner and jazz singer Ann Hampton Callaway (October 25), the Emelin's 2008-2009 season will feature film, music, family programs and more.

Legendary folk artist Ferron will team up with edgy, indie-rocker Bitch for a show on October 24th at NYC's Joe's Pub. The stripped-down performance unites two generations of intelligent, lyrically-charged female performers.

The Emelin's family programming this year expands its strong tradition of quality, fun and enriching performing arts events for younger audiences with more shows throughout the season. Super Saturdays: Family Fun highlights include the highly praised black light puppet show, The Mermaid Theatre of Nova Scotia's The Very Hungry Caterpillar, celebrated folk singer Tom Chapin, several books brought to life by Theatreworks USA productions, kindie rockers Hot Peas N' Butter, as well as Film Club Jr. in collaboration with the New York International Children's Film Festival.

Out.com is currently featuring a list of 'The 100 Greatest, Gayest Albums of All Time.' Surprisingly, the only theater albums to make the list were the Soundtracks to RENT, Rocky Horror Picture, and the Original Cast Recording of HAIR.

The Zipper Factory announces its June line-up featuring some old favorites and some new shows.

Steve Silver's Beach Blanket Babylon, the nation's longest running musical revue, presents a sign language interpreted performance on Sunday, April 20 at 5 p.m. at Club Fugazi in the heart of San Francisco's North Beach district.

The Zipper Factory presents a wide-range of variety shows for in the theatre in March 2008, including The Wau Wau Sisters, Megan Mullally, Daphne Rubin-Vega, Joy Behar, 'Don't Quit Your Night Job' and 'Happy Sunshine Kung Fu Flower.'

Feinstein's at Loews Regency will continue their Fall 2007 season with the debut of critically-acclaimed performer Erin McKeown. She was recently called 'one of the freshest singer-songwriters of her generation' by The Wall Street Journal. McKeown and her Little Big Band will perform songs from the CD Sing You Sinners for two shows only, Sunday, November 25 and Monday, November 26.
