A show representative tells us that the tour will be postponed until 2019. 'The tour will now launch in 2019 with stops in St. Paul, Dallas, and Washington D.C. ahead of the previously announced run at New York City Center which will begin performances, as previously announced, on Tuesday, July 30,' says a rep. 'The production is working with everyone involved to reschedule and news about the North American tour will be announced soon.'

The cast of Bat Out Of Hell took their final bow in Toronto last night, November 3.

Just days after announcing a run of Bat Out of Hell - The Musical in New York City at City Center, which would come on the heels of its national tour, BWW has learned that the tour has been canceled. 

The producers have announced Jim Steinman's Bat Out Of Hell – The Musical, the critically acclaimed, thrilling new musical based on one of the best-selling albums of all time, will play an eight-week engagement at New York City Center (131 West 55th Street) as part of its North American tour, which is currently at Toronto's Ed Mirvish Theatre and officially launches next week at Detroit's Fox Theatre.

The stars of Bat Out Of Hell recently appeared on Fox 2 in Detroit, where they discussed bringing the show to the stage. The pair also performed the song 'For Crying Out Loud.'

Christina Bennington, currently starring as Raven in Bat Out Of Hell, performed at Crazy Coqs' New Musical Theatre Showcase recently.

Bat Out of Hell swept onto the UK theatre scene with its rip roaring tale. On Saturday 1 September, the show said goodbye to two of its stars, Andrew Polec and Patrick Sullivan. Watch as they take their final bows below!

Bat Out Of Hell - The Musical has announced that Jordan Luke Gage will be taking on the lead role of Strat from 3 September.

Bat Out Of Hell - The Musical's lead Andrew Polec, who plays the character of 'forever young' Strat, is leaving the West End production of the show. Polec, who won the 'Joe Allen Best West End Debut' in the Stage Debut Awards 2017 for his performance as Strat, has been involved in the show since the beginning. He commented:

Jim Steinman's Bat Out Of Hell - The Musical will be extending into 2019, with a new booking period at the Dominion Theatre from 27 October 2018 to 5 January 2019 going on sale at 12.00noon today, Thursday 26 July 2918. The winner of the Evening Standard Radio 2 Audience Award for Best Musical 2017 began previews at the Dominion Theatre on Monday 2 April, with a gala performance on 19 April 2018.
