Amazon Prime has released the trailer for the muscial finale of Transparent, written by Jill Soloway and starring Judith Light Gaby Hoffmann, Amy Landecker, Jay Duplass, Alexandra Billings, Kathryn Hahn, Shakina Nayfack, and Trace Lysetteand. It was previously announced that Jeffrey Tambor would not return for the finale, and that the musical episode deals with the loss of Tambor's character Maura.
Deadline reports that Jill Soloway, creator of Transparent, revealed Jeffrey Tambor's character Maura will be killed off in the series' musical finale.
Chris O'Dowd will be moving into a land of both shadow and substance in THE TWILIGHT ZONE. O'Dowd will star in the episode titled “The Blue Scorpion,” written by Glen Morgan, which will also feature Amy Landecker.
The Pasadena Playhouse announces that Simon Helberg will play George Bailey in its holiday production of It's a Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play adapted from the film by Joe Landry, and directed by Cameron Watson, for 15 performances only December 12 to 23 (Press Opening: December 13, 8 p.m.). The Amazon series 'Transparent' will end with a musical episode, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The fifth season of the series will be it's last, and the final episode will be a musical episode, creator Jill Soloway told The New York Times.
