American Repertory Theater (A.R.T) at Harvard University, under the leadership of Terrie and Bradley Bloom Artistic Director Diane Paulus and Executive Producer Diane Borger, will present Tahrir Is Now, an evening of music from the musical We Live in Cairo and testimonies in response to both the Arab Spring and the current political situation in Egypt.

Connecticut Repertory Theatre (CRT) continues its 2019-20 season with Sarah DeLappe's The Wolves, directed by Julie Foh. Performances will be held in Studio Theatre from October 24th through November 3rd, 2019.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, actress Cherry Jones has joined the upcoming Tammy Faye Bakker biopic. The film also stars Jessica Chastain and Andrew Garfield.

Composer, writer and actor Dave Malloy's work includes the Tony Award-winning Natasha, Pierre & The Great Comet of 1812, Octet, and his upcoming adaptation of Moby-Dick - the latter directed by regular collaborator Rachel Chavkin and starring Malloy. This year, London also sees two of his shows: Preludes, soon to conclude its run at Southwark Playhouse, and Ghost Quartet, which plays at the new Boulevard Theatre from 24 October.

(ZEALnyc) will present three pieces featuring company members at venues around Harvard Square in Cambridge. 

Christopher Lydon has been cast as the Reverend John Ward in a?oeSaltonstall's Triala?? a new play about the Salem Witch Trials on stage at The Larcom Theatre in Beverly, Mass., October 17-27.

Art House Productions has announced the 2019-2020 cohort of its INKubator Program. INKubator is a year-long generative process for a select group of 6 playwrights in residence at Art House Productions. This year's playwrights are Kev Berry, J. Julian Christopher, Alyssa Haddad, Christopher-Rashee Stevenson, Leila Teitelman, and Colin Waitt.

The Eugene O'Neill Theater Center is now accepting script submissions for the 2020 National Playwrights Conference. Writers may submit their new plays to the O'Neill's Open Submissions Process through Friday, October 11, 2019.
