The stage is set for TEDxBroadway 2019. Organizers announce today the complete list of speakers for the popular one-day event dedicated to asking a?oeWhat's the BEST Broadway can be?a?? at New World Stages on Tuesday, September 24, 2019.

American Repertory Theater (A.R.T.) at Harvard University, under the leadership of Terrie and Bradley Bloom Artistic Director Diane Paulus and Executive Producer Diane Borger, will present visionary artist Daniel Alexander Jones' concert and visitation with alter-ego Jomama Jones, Black Light at A.R.T.'s club theater space OBERON September 19 through September 20, 2019.

Huntington Theatre Company announced today the cast and creative team for Quixote Nuevo, a comedic and poetic reimagining of Miguel Cervantes' Don Quixote by award-winning playwright Octavio Solis. Directed by KJ Sanchez and produced in association with Hartford Stage and the Alley Theatre, Quixote Nuevo will begin performances at the Avenue of the Arts/Huntington Avenue Theatre (264 Huntington Ave, Boston) on Friday, November 15, 2019 and will run through Sunday, December 8, 2019.

SIX the Musical is now on stage at American Rep! The production began previews Wednesday, August 21 and officially opened this weekend, and closes Friday, September 27, 2019 at the Loeb Drama Center in Cambridge, MA.

Gloucester Stage Company continues its 40th Anniversary Season of professional theater with the regional premiere of The Lifespan of a Fact from August 30 through September 22 at Gloucester Stage Company, 267 East Main Street, Gloucester, MA. The writers of Six, Lucy Moss and Toby Marlow, have signed a publishing deal with Warner Music, according to The Stage.

Andy Mientus will make his London concert debut on Sunday 18th August 2019 at 4pm!

The UK première of the hit Off-Broadway musical SHIDA, written and performed by Jeannette Bayardelle, is today announced. The award-winning production, directed by Andy Sandberg, opens at The Vaults on 13 September, with previews from 11 September, and runs until 13 October.

 Producers Kenny Wax, Wendy & Andy Barnes, George Stiles and Kevin McCollum announced tonight that the new musical SIX by Toby Marlow and Lucy Moss will return to Chicago for a sixteen week limited engagement at Broadway In Chicago's Broadway Playhouse starting July 8, 2020 through October 25, 2020. The hit musical, which had its North American premiere at Chicago Shakespeare Theater, concluded its extended run on Sunday, August 4, 2019 and heads to Broadway in February of 2020. Casting and ticket information will be announced at a later date.
