UCLA's Center for the Art of Performance (CAP UCLA) presents John Cameron Mitchell's The Origin Of Love Tour on Saturday, April 11, at The Theatre at Ace Hotel in Downtown LA. This performance is currently sold out.

John Cameron Mitchell, the co-writer and original star of HEDWIG AND THE ANGRY INCH, revives the songs and stories of Hedwig for THE ORIGIN OF LOVE TOUR.

This month and beyond artists at Joe's Pub a?" a program and venue of The Public Theater a?" will honor legends and inspirations from across the universe of music. Justin Sayre returns to Joe's Pub with another edition of their long-running Queer Variety Show, The Meeting. Sayre is celebrating 10 years since the formation of The Meeting in 2009, the show went on to become the longest running LGBTQ variety show in New York. Sayre will offer stories and songs with a host of downtown royalty, from Angela DiCarlo, Nadia Quinn, Amber Martin, and Phillip Taratula as Pam Goldberg on Friday night, December 6th. And Nathan Lee Graham, Natalie Joy Johnson, Dane Terry, Zachary Clause and Shane O'Neill as Jane Johnson. Tracy Stark will be Musical Director.

Performance Space New York partners with East Village-based queer funk dance party WET NOISE for a celebratory 12-Hour DANCE-A-THON (May 5, 12pm-12am), a fundraising event that couldn't be further from expectations of what a "fundraising event" entails. The DANCE-A-THON revels in filthy funk music, endless dancing, community building, and inclusivity across age, race, gender, sexuality, and class.
