Holiday Follies plays at On Pitch Performing Arts in Layton Utah December 12th-15th, 2018. 

Ease on down the road with this fantastical production of The Wiz at Theatre Under The Stars! The show began performances on October 23, and will run through November 4 at the Hobby Center for the Performing Arts.

AUDELCO has announced the nominees for their 2018 'Viv' Awards, honoring Black Theatre in New York City.

Though it's 2018 in Houston, Texas, at the height of the 2018 primary election, but thankfully, there's an escape from the tumultuous political climate where blue and red are the subject. The color of today is green.

Leading off the cast is Salome B. Smith in the role of 'Dorothy'. Smith is a recent graduate of Alabama State University where she performed in many theatrical productions including The Color Purple, Rent and Carousel. Marva Hicks is playing the role of 'The Wiz'. Hicks has appeared on Broadway in Motown The Musical, Caroline or Change, and The Lion King. Yvette Clark will play the roles of 'Evilene', 'Glinda', and 'Aunt Em'. Clark has appeared in numerous regional productions including Thoroughly Modern Millie, Showboat, Chicago, and Hairspray. Simone Gundy will play the role of 'Addaperle'. Gundy returns to TUTS after starring in the 2017 production of Memphis. Paris Nix is playing 'Tin Man'. Nix was last seen on Broadway in Beautiful: The Carole King Musical. Allyson Kaye Daniel is 'Lion'. The second act of Disney's 'Newsies' opens with a show-stopping number titled 'King of New York,' in which the Newsies celebrate their newfound celebrity in the press. The cast and production team of the John W. Engeman Theater's stunning production have equal reason to celebrate. Bringing to life a spectacle of pure entertainment, they earn the title of 'King of New York' - or Long Island, rather.

"Glee" star Jane Lynch visited the cast of The York Theatre Company production of the new musical Unexpected Joy, with book and lyrics by Bill Russell and music by Janet Hood. Unexpected Joy concludes its extended limited engagement this Sunday afternoon, May 27, 2018 at 2:30 p.m. at The York Theatre Company at Saint Peter's where performances began April 24, 2018.

Pop singer/songwriter Brielle Von Hugel stopped by to visit the cast of The York Theatre Company production of the new musical Unexpected Joy

Jump For Joy! The Off-Broadway cast recording of the New York premiere production of the new musical Unexpected Joy, with book and lyrics by Bill Russell (Side Show) and music by Janet Hood (Elegies for Angels, Punks, and Raging Queens with Bill Russell), will be recorded and released by JAY Records. Produced by John Yap, the recording will feature the original cast of The York Theatre Company production who will gather at Sear Sound Studios (353 West 48th Street) on Monday, May 14, 2018 to lay down the tracks for the recording.

Though the characters in bookwriter/lyricist Bill Russell and composer Janet Hood's sweet, funny and very entertaining new musical UNEXPECTED JOY are all women, there's a guy in the mix who still has a lot to say.
