Just in time for the holidays, Paris Ballet and Dance is bringing the spellbinding magic of The Nutcracker to the Eissey Campus Theatre!

Boston Ballet presents the return of Mikko Nissinen's The Nutcracker. The critically-acclaimed production, featuring sets and costumes by award-winning designer Robert Perdziola, marks Boston Ballet's return to in-person performances for the first time since March 2020. The Nutcracker, set to Tchaikovsky's renowned score, opens November 26 with performances through December 26 at the Citizens Bank Opera House.

Two famous actresses are set to perform their versions of a play at the same theater, one day apart. In this quick-witted farce, the author and fellow actors’ issues with these leading ladies seem to be the problems of utmost importance until a Russian revolutionary enters the scene and threatens to blow up the theater.

Giuseppe Verdi’s La Traviata is based on Alexandre Dumas’s novel La Dame aux camelias, about the famous courtesan and idol of Parisian society in the 1840s. It is in fact the very first significant opera to a contemporary social theme.

From the Tony Award-nominated composer of The Scarlet Pimpernel and Jekyll & Hyde comes this swashbuckling musical adventure of vengeance, mercy, and the redemptive power of love.

THE BLACK COUNT OF MONTE CRISTO, an original musical by Michele R. Hampton, directed by Cate  Cammarata, with musical direction by Seth Weinstein, is scheduled for a limited run beginning late  September at Off-Broadway's Theatre Row (410 West 42nd St. NY). 

The Count Of Monte Cristo is playing now at Tuacahn Outdoor Amphitheatre through October 21, 2021. Featuring music by Frank Wildhorn, book and lyrics by Jack Murphy, and based on the novel by Alexandre Dumas.

Based on the novel by the same name by Alexandre Dumas, MONTE CRISTO the Musical follows the life of Edmond Dantès, a young naive second mate of a French ship whose life plummeted on the happiest day of his life. Framed by the people he trusted, Edmond is locked up for life and after 15 years of suffering, with the help of an inmate, later mentor, Abbè Fria, he comes back under the name of a wealthy Count of Monte Cristo. Consumed by revenge, Edmond slowly plans a way to bring hell to those who have betrayed him.

A recorded version of Frank Wildhorn and Jack Murphy's musical, MONTE CRISTO, recently will be shows in cinemas in South Korea beginning March 19th, 2021. The production stars a number of Korean stars in the new musical based on the classic Alexandre Dumas novel.
