Boca Stage continues its season with Time Alone, by Alessandro Camon, the Oscar nominated writer. In this award-winning drama, Camon crafts a poignant and hard-hitting examination of how justice plays out for two individuals. Although unaware of each other, as the play switches back and forth between the character's different journeys, leading to a climatic and unexpected twist.

BET has announced Academy Award®-nominated and Golden Globe®-winning actor, writer, director, producer, and philanthropist Taraji P. Henson will return to host the “BET AWARDS” LIVE from the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles

Taraji P. Henson is set to star in a film adaption of Alessandro Camon’s acclaimed play, Time Alone. Producers include Todd Black and Suzanne Warren. The play originally ran at Theatre 2 at the Los Angeles Theatre Center 2017 starring Tonya Pinkins and Alex Hernandez.

The nominees for the 29th Annual LA STAGE Alliance Ovation Awards, celebrating theatrical excellence and achievement throughout Los Angeles, were announced this week.

The 2018 Stage Raw Theater Awards celebrate excellence on the Los Angeles stages in venues of 99-seats or under. This fourth annual edition included productions that opened between January 1, 2017 and May 31, 2018. Stage Raw is a community funded professional journalism website that was created in response to the decline of arts coverage in local mainstream and alternative media.The Awards ceremony was held Monday night, August 20, at Los Angeles Theatre Center, 514 S. Spring Street in downtown Los Angeles, hosted by Coeurage Theatre Company, and co-directed by Jer Adrianne Lelliott, Thaddeus Shafer and Lauren Ludwig. Winners notated in red below.
