TINA vanaf 1 november weer terug in het Beatrix Theater Utrecht
TINA a?" De Tina Turner Musical zal per 1 november 2020 weer te zien zijn in het Beatrix Theater Utrecht. De musical over het leven van de a??Queen of Rock a??n Rolla?? Tina Turner ging in februari succesvol in première, maar moest in maart alweer de deuren sluiten in verband met de uitbraak van het coronavirus. Producent Stage Entertainment ziet na de versoepeling van de coronamaatregelen de mogelijkheid om de musical coronaproof weer van start te laten gaan. De cast begint in september met de repetities en speelt op 1 november zijn eerste voorstelling. Op 8 november gaat de musical opnieuw in première. Ik ben enorm trots dat de Nederlandse versie van TINA als eerste ter wereld weer open gaat en kijk er naar uit om met het internationale team weer aan de slag te gaan. Ik wil alle voucherhouders enorm bedanken voor hun geduld de afgelopen maanden. Hun lange wachten wordt nu beloond. Vanaf morgen krijgen de voucherhouders persoonlijk bericht en als eerste de mogelijkheid om tickets te boeken.a??
ANASTASIA
Naast TINA en Lazarus stond er nog een productie van Stage Entertainment in het theater. Broadwaymusical Anastasia was sinds september 2019 in het AFAS Circustheater in Scheveningen te zien. Met de huidige geldende maatregelen is het helaas niet haalbaar om deze productie te spelen. Het blijft vooralsnog de planning om de musical in het voorjaar van 2021 terug te laten keren.
Vanwege het geringe perspectief op een financieel gezonde heropening van de theaters verwacht Stage Entertainment Nederland zijn voorstellingen tot het voorjaar van 2021 niet te kunnen spelen. Hierdoor ziet de musicalproducent zich genoodzaakt de programmering te herzien. Een trieste situatie, waaraan helaas voorlopig geen einde lijkt te komen. Sterker nog, het lijkt erop dat onze branche als laatste aan de beurt is, om weer open te kunnen gaan. Die voortdurende onzekerheid heeft de directie van Stage Entertainment Nederland gedwongen deze belangrijke beslissingen op het gebied van de programmering te nemen. Wij doen er alles aan om deze moeilijke en ingrijpende tijd zo goed mogelijk door te komen en daarna sterker terug te komen.a??
Stage Entertainment Nederland en AFAS Software verlengen hun samenwerking met 3,5 jaar tot 2024. De softwareleverancier is sinds 2011 naamgevend sponsor van het AFAS Circustheater in Scheveningen, het grootste musicaltheater van Nederland.
After Broadway, The West End and Germany, Tina - De Tina Turner Musical has finally landed in The Netherlands. Opening on 9th of February at the Beatrix Theater Utrecht during a raging storm and heavy rainfall. This was meant to be, preparing the audience for the whirlwind which is this show. Explosive, forceful and leaving you in awe.

De Tina Turner Musical Nederlandse ster in Duitsland komt naar Utrecht Op 21 oktober heeft Albert Verlinde in Utrecht bekendgemaakt dat de zeer talentvolle Nyassa Alberta de hoofdrol van Tina Turner in de gelijknamige musical gaat spelen. De eerste voorstelling van TINA a?' De Tina Turner Musical wordt gespeeld op 1 februari 2020 in het Beatrix Theater in Utrecht.
The first performance of the evening was spectactular. Directed by Ashley Wallen, the choreographer of The Greatest Showman, treated the audience on a tribute to a new generation of Hollywood musicals such as La La Land, A Star is Born and - of course - The Greatest Showman performed by the talented Freek Bartels, Jamai Loman and students of Lucia Marthas Institute of Performing Arts.
Na twee uitverkochte edities van Elisabeth in Concert in 2017 en 2018 geeft Stage Entertainment deze zomer aan deze traditie een vervolg met Aida in Concert. Op het festivalterrein van het Autotron in 's-Hertogenbosch is deze bijzondere show van 20 tot en met 30 juni slechts zes keer te zien. Net als bij Elisabeth in Concert zullen de bezoekers van het musicalconcert dezelfde festival-sfeer op en rondom het terrein ervaren. Met de fantastische muziek van Elton John, een cast met alleen maar musicalsterren en een 14-koppig orkest, beleeft het publiek een onvergetelijke avond uit in de open lucht. Albert Verlinde is trots te kunnen melden dat de internationale musicalster Willemijn Verkaik een van de hoofdrollen zal vertolken.
Gijs Naber will play the leading part in Lazarus, the David Bowie musical. Naber plays the role of Thomas Newton. Ivo van Hove, who created the show together with Bowie and Enda Walsh in New York, will also direct the Dutch production.
Na succesvolle biografische musicals zoals Sonneveld, Ramses en Robert Long is aankomend seizoen Was Getekend, Annie M.G. Schmidt te zien in de Nederlandse theaters. Naast Simone Kleinsma in de rol van Annie M.G. Schmidt kunnen we nu bekendmaken dat William Spaaij de rol van zoon Flip van Duijn op zich neemt.

A new production of Broadway musical ON YOUR FEET! will open at the Beatrix Theater Utrecht this October, as was announced by Stage Entertainment's Managing Director and Producer Albert Verlinde: 'I am very happy that we obtained license rights to produce Emilio and Gloria Estefan's musical ON YOUR FEET!. I visited the show a few times on Broadway last year and it is an irresistible that literally gets the audience on their feet.' The production in the Netherlands is the first production outside the United States. Emilio and Gloria Estefan will visit the Netherlands this week to present the musical to the Dutch audience. Gloria Estefan will also present a Musical Award during Thursday's Musical Awards Gala.

Albert Verlinde Entertainment will make the cult-movie FLODDER into a musical. The musical will premiere in the fall of 2014. FLODDER is a movie from 1986 about an anti-social, dysfunctional family who move to an affluent, upper-class neighbourhood as part of a social experiment.

In response to the news that the UK touring production of DADDY COOL was cancelled, the tour's co-producer Albert Verlinde Entertainment (AVE) has stated it was "surprised by the late decision of the English producers".
