A new school year is beginning at Cornley University this fall as the Tony Award-winning Broadway production of Mischief Theatre's The Play That Goes Wrong, which has inexplicably become longest-running play currently on Broadway, welcomes a new company beginning Tuesday, September 19th.

Vassar & New York Stage and Film's 33rd Powerhouse Season celebrates the opening of its highly anticipated musical workshop production of The Secret Life of Bees tonight, July 27, at 8 p.m. at the Vogelstein Center for Drama & Film, with performances continuing on Friday, July 28, Saturday, July 29, and Sunday, July 30. This is the final weekend of the season.

WaterTower Theatre Announces Casting and Creative Details for NATIVE GARDENS

WaterTower Theatre Artistic Director Joanie Schultz today announced casting and creative team details for the Regional Premiere of Karen Zacarias' Native Gardens, directed by David Lozano. Native Gardens will run June 2-25, 2017, in the Canterbury Family Main Stage at the Addison Theatre Centre. The cast features Stephanie Cleghorn Jasso as Tania Del Valle, Ivan Jasso as Pablo Del Valle, Lois Sonnier Hart as Virginia Butley, and John S. Davies as Frank Butley.

Broadway's biggest hit said goodbye to some of it's biggest hitters this week. Hamilton bid adieu to Tony-winning star and writer Lin Manuel Miranda, Tony winner Leslie Odom Jr, Tony nominee Phillipa Soo and 'The Bullet' herself, Ariana DeBose. That's a big change for the blockbuster and has, doubtless, left several Hamilton devotees heartbroken. We figured it'd be fitting to take a look back at some Sessions performances from the Tony-winning score that has wiggled its way into our heads and playlists and won't let go (nor do we want it to). The best of Broadway will be performing FREE on six consecutive Thursdays this summer with '106.7 LITE FM's Broadway in Bryant Park 2016' - a lunchtime series that just kicked off this week, July 7 on the Bryant Park Stage. Hosted by LITE FM's on-air personalities, the 16th annual presentation of open-air, On- and Off- Broadway lunch hour performances will run through Thursday, August 11.
