Yesterday's performance of Pretty Woman on the West End was extra special, as audience members got to witness a proposal! Kimberly Blake, a member of the cast, was proposed to on stage by her partner David after the matinee performance.

Pretty Woman: The Musical resumed performances at its new West End home, the Savoy Theatre, on 8 July 2021 and so, we sent our very own @WestEndReporter Tom Hayden Millward down to meet Aimie Atkinson (who plays leading lady Vivian Ward) and Rachael Wooding (her BFF Kit De Luca) and find out how they are settling into life at the Savoy.

The concert was produced by Theatre Support Fund+ which was founded during the pandemic to raise monies theatre freelancers affected by the closure of theatres across the country. Find out how to watch the broadcast here!

The show will star Aimie Atkinson as 'Vivian Ward' and Danny Mac as 'Edward Lewis'. They are joined by are Rachael Wooding as 'Kit De Luca', Bob Harms as 'Happy Man/Mr Thompson', Neil McDermott as 'Philip Stuckey' and Mark Holden as 'James Morse'.

Including TINA – THE TINA TURNER MUSICAL, Dear Evan Hansen, Everybody's Talking About Jamie, SIX, Hamilton, The Book of Mormon, WICKED,  Royal Shakespeare Company's Matilda The Musical,  & Juliet, Les Misérables, Disney's The Lion King, The Prince of Egypt, Come From Away, The Phantom Of The Opera, Mary Poppins, MAMMA MIA!, Back to the Future The Musical and Pretty Woman The Musical.

Written by Lesley Ross & James Williams, and based on the show of the same name, this quirky retelling of the famous fairytale touches on friendship, acceptance and how dangerous it is to fall under the spell of a Spider's dark web. 

Photos have been released from the first concert of the series for Monday Night at the Apollo - which were performed in front of a socially distanced audience at the Apollo Theatre on Shaftesbury Avenue on Monday 24 May, and simultaneously livestreamed to viewers at home via the theatre discovery platform Thespie.

The lineup has been confirmed for the second concert of the series for Monday Night at the Apollo – which will be performed in front of a socially distanced audience at the Apollo Theatre on Shaftesbury Avenue on Monday 14 June, and simultaneously livestreamed to viewers at home.

THE SHOW MUST GO ON LIVE! will host a one-off concert featuring performances from 18 West End shows and an all-star musical theatre cast this summer.

The concert will be simultaneously livestreamed to viewers at home via the theatre discovery platform Thespie, which is dedicated to bringing the best live and recorded theatre to audiences around the world.

After breaking advance box office records at the Piccadilly Theatre when it opened in February 2020, the smash hit feel-good PRETTY WOMAN: THE MUSICAL returns to the West End this Summer in its new home the Savoy Theatre, with performances from 8 July 2021.
