INDECENT features music composed by Lisa Gutkin (KLEZMATICS) and Aaron Halva (RED NOSES) and choreography by David Dorfman (GREEN VIOLIN). Check out a first look below!

Known for both her contemporary and Shakespearean work, Taichman will go straight from one off-Bway show to another this year.

OldSoundRoom's production of OCTOBER IN THE CHAIR AND OTHER FRAGILE THINGS, based on the short stories of New York Times bestselling author Neil Gaiman, begins previews tomorrow, Wednesday, October 29th for seven performances only at The American Theatre of Actors (314 West 54 Street). This production brings 90 minutes of absurdist, dark humor, just in time for Halloween. Directed by Michael McQuilken, OCTOBER IN THE CHAIR AND OTHER FRAGILE THINGS will play October 29th and October 30th at 8PM; October 31st and November 1st at 8PM and 10:30PM and November 2nd at 2PM. 4000 Miles by Amy Herzog tells a complicated story that involves a young man and his grandmother. Leo arrives at his grandmother's (Vera) New York apartment in the middle of the night after riding across the country on his bicycle. He ultimately stays with her for months and their relationship takes on many levels during this time. Leo is grieving and recovering from the loss of a friend and Vera has to get use to someone else in her apartment after the death of her husband. This production was able to find a balance between emotional and funny, which can be a hard thing when the scene never changes and only has 4 actors.

Old Sound Room, a new company founded by 12 colleagues from the Yale School of Drama, presents it's inaugural production, OLD SOUND ROOM LEAR. An aggressive adaptation of Shakespeare's play, this production utilizes his words, frenzied movement set to original beat-driven music, and new text culled from interviews with residents of the Lillian Booth/Actors Fund Assisted Living Facility.

A limited number of seats located in a balcony level of the McGuire Proscenium in a section that will not be disruptive to other patrons will be designated as Tweet Seats. Tweet Seat tickets are $15 and are available by calling the Guthrie Box Office at 612.377.2224, and mentioning 'Tweet.' Tickets are not available online, with other offers, or on previously purchased tickets. Handing fees may apply.
