The Guthrie Theater presents Yale Repertory Theatre's production of The Servant of Two Masters. Adapted by Constance Congdon from a translation of Carlo Goldoni by Christina Sibul, this comedy features Steven Epp (Guthrie: A Christmas Carol, The Caretaker; Theatre de la Jeune Lune: actor, writer, director, co-artistic director 1983-2008) as the wily servant Truffaldino and Guthrie favorite Sarah Agnew (Guthrie: Time Stands Still, The 39 Steps; Theatre de la Jeune Lune company member 1995-2001) as the strong-willed Beatrice in the story of a servant scheming to fill his pockets and his stomach by serving two masters at once.

The Guthrie Theater today announced complete casting for its presentation of Yale Repertory Theatre's production of The Servant of Two Masters. Amanda Palmer will launch her new video for 'Do it With a Rockstar', the third video from her new album, Theatre is Evil. The video -- a sprawling parody of rock star life reminiscent of the Beastie Boys 'Fight For Your Right to Party' -- premieres today on The Flaming Lips' website.

I'll spare you any idioms regarding the distance between apples and trees while examining the newest work of Daisy Foote, the playwright who carries on the lineage of one of America's treasured dramatist, the late Horton Foote.  But comparison is inevitable as the daughter's most recent work has a similar voice to that of her father; just differently accented.

Helmed by Obie Award-winning director Evan Yionoulis (Three Days of Rain, Violet Hour), HIM runs September 25 - October 28 at Primary Stages at 59E59 Theaters.
