Stars from stage and screen will take center stage at the 2019 Tony Awards, on CBS on Sunday, June 9th, 8:00 - 11:00 p.m. (ET/PT time delay), when they broadcast live from Radio City Music Hall in New York City. The Tony Awards, hosted by James Corden are presented by The Broadway League and the American Theatre Wing. What does Corden have in store for the big night? THE 24 PLAYS Celebrates 24 Years When THE 24 HOUR MUSICALS Returns on June 17

In 1995, a group of writers, directors and actors gathered on Manhattan's Lower East Side for what was supposed to be a one-time only event: write, direct, produce and perform new plays within the span of 24 hours. Twenty-four years later, The 24 Hour Plays and The 24 Hour Musicals are regularly performed around the world, touching everyone from celebrities to student artists and raising millions of dollars for charities. Today, The 24 Hour Plays announced that they'll mark their anniversary with an intimate production of The 24 Hour Musicals on Monday, June 17th at 8 PM on the Irene Diamond Stage at the Pershing Square Signature Center.
Geffen and Audible Will Co-Produce NIGHTFALL For 2019/2020 Season

Geffen Playhouse and Audible will co-produce Nightfall for the Los Angeles theater's 2019/2020 season, it was announced today. Written by Marisela Treviño Orta (The River Bride, Braided Sorrow, Wolf at the Door) as part of Audible's Emerging Playwrights Fund, Nightfall will make its world premiere in Geffen's Audrey Skirball Kenis Theater in February and marks the completion of the Geffen Playhouse 2019/2020 season lineup.

Audible Announce New London Production Of RADIO at Arcola Theatre

Audible, the world's leading producer and provider of spoken-word entertainment, today deepens its commitment to UK theatre announcing a new London production of Radio written by Al Smith. Josh Roche directs Adam Gillen as Charlie Fairbanks in a one-man play about memory, love and spaceships. The production opens at Arcola Theatre on 24 June, with previews from 19 June and runs until 13 July. To coincide with the opening of the stage show, a studio recording of Radio will also release exclusively on Audible this summer, available for members to download worldwide.

Audible Inc. has announced new casting today for the world premiere of Proof of Love, the new play by Audible-commissioned playwright Chisa Hutchinson (Surely Goodness and Mercy, Somebody's Daughter), directed by Jade King Carroll (The Gin Game, Hello From the Children of Planet Earth) and produced in association with New York Theatre Workshop. The production will now feature Brenda Pressley (The Lyons, Almost Home, Seven Guitars), replacing the previously announced Suzzanne Douglas who is withdrawing due to personal reasons.
