Today, Kyle Emerson releases the live video for “Better,” the first video in a series from the artist, filmed at the Oriental Theater in Denver, Colorado. Emerson will be revealing additional videos from The Oriental Theater Sessions leading up to the release of his sophomore album Only Coming Down out November 1st, 2019 via Brooklyn indie-label Swoon City Music. In support of the release of Only Coming Down, Emerson and his band head out on a run of dates this fall with Houndmouth, kicking off on November 7th at the Aggie Theatre in Fort Collins, CO before heading to Denver, Boulder and Manitou Springs, CO. The Kennedy Center announces the November calendar of events for Millennium Stage, its free daily performance series featuring art and artists representing countless artistic styles.  The Kennedy Center continues its annual tradition of Thanksgiving swing dance with jitterbug and Lindy Hop expert dancers Gottaswing (November 28).

Following in the footsteps of a successful Edinburgh Festival Fringe 2018 run, Antosh Wojcik's mesmeric display of live drumming and spoken word returns for a UK tour. As poems becomes beats, and beats become glitches in time, Antosh's debut stage show tells the moving story of his Polish grandfather's struggle against vascular dementia and the effect it had on the people around them. Using just his voice and a Roland TD-4KP electric drumkit, Antosh attempts to humanise memory loss through assigning rhythms to family members.

Internationally acclaimed Actors Touring Company has today announced the appointment of Matthew Xia as its new Artistic Director. Matthew will take up the position part-time in December 2018 and will be in place full-time from March 2019. He will lead alongside ATC's Executive DirectorAndrew Smaje.

The Flea Theater presents the World Premiere of SCRAPS written by Geraldine Inoa, a writer on The Walking Dead and the inaugural recipient of The Shonda Rhimes Unsung Voices Playwriting Commission. It is directed by Flea Artistic Director Niegel Smith. Now in previews, opening night is slated for Thursday, August 30.

Harlem9 presents the Obie Award Winning 48HOURS IN... HARLEM - a twist on the traditional 24-hour play festival. This event marks the 8th year of the collaborative Harlem9 bringing together 6 playwrights, 6 directors, and 18 actors.  Playwrights will re-imagine African Folktales into 10-minute plays over the course of one weekend.

The full company is announced today for the opening production of Chichester's Festival 2018, Noel Coward's PRESENT LAUGHTER. Directed by Sean Foley, the cast is led by Rufus Hound as Garry Essendine, Katherine Kingsley as Liz Essendine and Tracy-Ann Oberman as Monica Reed.
