Boothbay Summer Theater has announced its second season of offerings will include the one-woman show 'MY WITCH: The Margaret Hamilton Stories' performing June 27 through 30 at Boothbay Harbor's Carousel Music Theater during the region's Windjammer Days festival.

Alternative rock group The Early November is back with another new single; “Tired Of Lying” is out now, along with a brand new music video. “Tired Of Lying” is the third track to be released from the band’s forthcoming Self-Titled album. Shares frontman Ace Enders: “This song is about overcoming childhood trauma and demons while at the same time learning about and trying to face your new ones. The vicious cycle many of us sadly find ourselves in.” Watch the music video!

Eleanor Burgess’ brilliant, thoughtful, and often bitingly funny GALILEE, 34—currently having its impressive world premiere production at South Coast Repertory through May 12, 2024—is a humorously insightful, beautifully-performed new play that offers an unreliably revisionist examination of supposed events following Jesus Christ’s crucifixion.

Texas duo Hovvdy has released their anticipated self-titled double album, Hovvdy, via Arts & Crafts. Hovvdy’s fifth album is a statement piece that finds the band at the height of their powers, broadening the scope of their songwriting and adding new wrinkles to their sound, creating something wholly unique and exhilarating, as evidenced by the album’s diverse singles. On June 5-6, & 8, choreographer Nichele Woods premieres The Woods Dance Project's inaugural evening production, REDUCER, presented by Repertory Dance Theatre's Link Series.

Overall, this is a well-paced, charming show with both heartwarming and heartbreaking moments, and a whole lot of love for the Carpenters.

I loved this crazy roller coaster ride of storytelling delivered with a patchwork of musical genres.

Duluth Playhouse Underground will present the annual What She Said Festival in 2024, featuring six original plays written and directed by women. Due to popular demand, an extra show has been added on May 12th.
