Ojai Playwrights Conference has named a new producing artistic director, nationally known and respected theatre leader and artist Jeremy B. Cohen.

The Handel and Haydn Society announces its 2023-24 season, the first under new Artistic Director Jonathan Cohen. Cohen is just the 15th to hold that position in Handel and Haydn Society's 209 years and has selected an eclectic group of works for the season's eleven concerts.

As 2022 comes to a close, Broadway fans will be able to ring in the New Year with some of their favorite faces! Countdown to midnight with names like Billy Porter, Ben Platt, Dolly Parton, Renée Fleming, Chris Jackson, Matt Doyle, Joaquina Kalukango, Mandy Gonzales, Jenifer Lewis, Jean Smart, Halle Bailey, and more!

Stephane Wrembel, best known for his original compositions “Bistro Fada” (Midnight in Paris) and “Big Brother” (Vicki Cristina Barcelon) will return to California from January 21 through January 29.

The Jewish Plays Project (David Winitsky, Artistic Director) is proud to announce its return to New York City after a three year hiatus, on November 30 and December 1, 2022. Romeo & Bernadette: A Musical Tale of Verona and Brooklyn, with book and lyrics by Mark Saltzman, music adapted from classic Italian melodies, directed and choreographed by Justin Ross Cohen announced the unexpected closing of the show due to a COVID outbreak within the company.

Sonia Manzano, who portrayed ‘Maria’ on “Sesame Street” from 1971-2015 attended the matinee performance yesterday (Sunday, 5/22) of ROMEO & BERNADETTE.  She and Mark Saltzman, the book & lyric writer of the show, worked together on the show for many years.
