Katie Dixon is hailed by Opera News as “a natural with a sparkling personality and top notes to match.” Born and raised in Southern California, she has recently been seen as Jellylorum and Grizabella in Andrew Lloyd Webber’s production of Cats for Broadway at Sea, Kitty Bennet in the new musical Austen’s Pride with 5th Avenue Theater, and both The Mikado and Patience Off Broadway with the New York Gilbert & Sullivan Players. Katie has starred on the stages of NYC’s Lincoln Center and New World Stages, Opera Hong Kong, and Opera Naples. She’s traveled to the Fringe Festival in Edinburgh Scotland to appear as Lily in the award winning production of The Secret Garden, and was also featured with the Disney Philharmonic Concert Series. For her outstanding portrayals she received the Orange County Cappie and Macy Award for Christine in Phantom and Musical Theatre West Footlighters Grant for Eponine in Les Miserables. Ms. Dixon currently tours with The Victory Belles, an Andrew Sisters Tribute group through the National WWII Museum, and holds a Master of Music Degree in Voice from Mannes School of Music.
