The show brings Szpilman’s true story to the stage, accompanied by the musician’s own music. Recently, we had the chance to speak with Daniel Krikler, who plays Wladyslaw Szpilman in The Pianist. We discussed how he prepared to take on the role of Szpilman, what it has been like participating in a show with actor-musicians and even why he wants to erase the labels of plays and musicals.
