Ford's Theatre Society on June 3, hosted its annual black-tie gala at Ford's Theatre (511 10th Street NW). The evening included the presentation of the Lincoln Medal to Morgan Freeman and Elie Wiesel, two individuals whose extraordinary character, accomplishments and life work reflect Lincoln's legacy of leadership, service, humanity, wisdom, eloquence and vision. Ford's Theatre Society Announces New Leadership For Capital Campaign

Ford's Theatre Society (FTS) announced today that Board of Trustee member Nick Chabraja, Chairman of General Dynamics, has been named chairman of The Abraham Lincoln Bicentennial Campaign, a $50+ million capital campaign to support the renovation of Ford's Theatre and its museum, as well as the building of the new Center for Education and Leadership.
