BIO
Taylor grew up in the live music capital of the world, Austin, Texas. Throughout her childhood she trained in all styles of dance at Fusion Dance Company. She began taking voice lessons at age 15 with Greta Hardey and Molly Wissinger. That was when she found her passion. She caught the musical theatre bug and began taking classes at TexArts, a performing arts company, where she studied under Robin Lewis. She made her way through Summer Stock Austin, Zilker Hillside Theatre, Doctuh Mistuh Productions, and ZACH Theatre where she became a member of the Actors' Equity Association.
Continuing her education, Taylor was lucky enough to be one of 12 students accepted into The University of Oklahoma's Weitzenhoffer School of Musical Theatre. She graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical Theatre with Distinction in May 2017. While in school, Taylor performed in many main stage shows including Millie in Thoroughly Modern Millie. Taylor also had opportunities to work on new works such as The Double Threat Trio playing Nina composed and written by Adam Overett.
Taylor most recently spent 11 months onboard Royal Caribbean's Symphony of the Seas (the largest cruise ship in the world) where she played Amber VonTussle in Hairspray as well as various roles in their production show, Flight: Dare to Dream.
