The Guthrie Theater has announced the cast and creative team for¬†The Little Prince, adapted by¬†Rick Cummins¬†and¬†John Scoullar¬†and based on the book by¬†Antoine de Saint-Exup√©ry. Under the direction of¬†Dominique Serrand,¬†The Little Prince¬†will play December 10, 2022 ‚Äď February 5, 2023, on the McGuire Proscenium Stage.

Theater Latté Da today announces Bethany Brinton, Crystal Manich and Celeste Moreno as the recipients of the NEXT Generation Commission in 2022, furthering Theater Latté Da's commitment to providing opportunities for women artists and BIPOC artists. The NEXT Generation Commission supports the creation and development of new musical theatre projects whose creative teams are at least 50% women artists or BIPOC artists. The creative team will share the $20,000 commission.

New work has always been a part of the company's DNA. Over the past eight years the company has further prioritized the support of new musicals and plays with music through its NEXT program: including commissions, workshops, the NEXT Festival, and of course world premieres. The Hudson Valley Shakespeare Festival has announced the complete lineup for the 2020 Summer Season, including Shakespeare's crookback villain Richard III and the lovestruck romantic comedy Love's Labor's Lost, alongside the world premiere of The Venetian Twins by Carlo Goldoni in a new adaptation by Christopher Bayes and Steven Epp. The 2020 season will also feature free performances of HVSF's family-friendly, touring production of Much Ado About Nothing. Performance schedule and casting will be announced at a later date.
