BIO
Shakerria Breonie Henderson received training at The Neighborhood
Playhouse School of Theater and holds an AS in Theater from
LaGuardia Community College. A proud member of Actors Equity
Association, her recent Off-Broadway appearances include Nora Helmer
in A Doll's House (Sanctuary Theater Company) Deja in The Frenchman
(The Tank). Her on-screen work includes: One of the Guys (88 Hues), A
Mind of Steel (Millianvision Productions), the psychological thriller KAOS
(Kevro Studios) for which she recently won Best Lead Actor from Kyoto
Cinematica Film Festival; Do Your Best (True Craft Media) and the
critically-acclaimed Shoutout 2 My Therapist (VBL Productions).
Shakerria is also a playwright with her first play Cycles debuting at Chain Theatre's 2025 Summer One Act Festival. She is currently focused on exploring works of memory.

Cycles, a new play written by Shakerria Breonie and directed by Candaceia Charles, will be presented in three performances this July: July 11 at 8 p.m., July 17 at 6:30 p.m., and July 19 at 5 p.m.
